The Greek participation in the 18th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice examines dams and reservoirs as public architecture. Drawings, models, photographs and interactive soundscapes reveal how water infrastructure transforms terrain and holds collective lives, memories and expectations.

About the speaker

Andreas A. Nikolovgenis co-curated Bodies of Water with Costis Paniyiris. The exhibition considers Greece’s reservoirs as a dispersed reverse archipelago, connecting the technical transformation of land with public architecture and collective memory.
