Experimental laser cutting and engraving become a starting point for exploring unfamiliar ways of making. Eva Korae shares processes developed with a CO₂ laser cutter, tracing their movement from workshop experimentation to finished products and internationally recognised projects.

About the speaker

Eva Korae is a maker, designer and educator. Elected Assistant Professor at Cyprus University of Technology in 2022, she is a graduate of Fab Academy in Amsterdam and an active supporter of the maker movement in Cyprus. Her research explores sustainable production, pre-industrial techniques and design thinking as a contributor to social change.
